Smith Abstract & Title LLC was established by Arthur Glen Smith in 1965, marking more than 60 years of service and continuing a third-generation family tradition in the title industry. His daughter, Margaret Ann, was raised in Madison and returned in 2008 after earning her Bachelor’s degree in Finance and gaining years of professional experience in the field. She worked alongside her father for many years, learning the business and contributing to its continued growth until his passing in 2024. Today, she leads Smith Abstract & Title LLC from the sixth-generation family building, originally home to Mosely Drug Store in the early 1900s. Built on decades of experience, Smith Abstract & Title LLC continues to uphold a legacy of trust and dedication in the local community.
